Editorial policy

Editorial policy

This page states how articles on this site are produced, checked, and corrected. It applies to everything published under this domain.

1. Who writes and who signs off

Articles are published under Hub City Boxing Editorial Team. Every draft has an owner in the editorial queue, and nothing publishes without a final read by a person. This site uses no individual byline until a named person is assigned to it and their details have been checked.

2. How we check facts

Numerical claims, rules, dates, and competition formats must trace to a primary source: the organising body, a public sports federation, the game's publisher, or an official statistical database. Sources are listed at the end of each article. If we cannot verify a figure, we do not publish the figure.

3. How we use AI

Generative AI is used for outlines, question prompts, spelling checks, and phrasing suggestions. It is not used to invent numbers, results, quotes, or experiences. Whenever AI has assisted a draft, the article records that fact in its metadata. Every AI-assisted draft is fact-checked and rewritten by a human editor before publication.

4. Original contribution

Each article must add something that a copy of the top results would not already give the reader: a worked calculation, a comparison table we built from sources, or a documented method. We do not republish text from other sites and we do not restore text from this domain's earlier owner.

5. Corrections

Substantive corrections update the article's modified date and are marked at the foot of the article. We keep the original claim visible rather than silently editing it.

6. What we will not publish

  • Medical, legal, or financial advice that needs a qualified professional.
  • Reviews of products or services we have not tested.
  • Any content or outbound link in the prohibited categories listed in section 6 of our content rules.
  • Paid placement, sponsored posts, or link exchanges.
